ACX continues to strengthen its presence across Canada with the addition of Contemporary Coachworks, a well-established collision repair business based in Calgary. The acquisition marks another step in the company’s growth strategy while bringing a respected regional operator into its expanding platform.
A Longstanding Reputation for Quality Repairs
Founded in 1984, Contemporary Coachworks built its reputation on delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. What began as a small four-person operation in northeast Calgary evolved into a thriving business serving customers across the city.
Under the leadership of Taylor Sun, the company now operates two modern 15,000-square-foot repair facilities located in Calgary’s north and south sectors. Both locations are now part of the ACX platform.
Strengthening Expertise and Market Reach
Contemporary Coachworks is widely recognized for its specialization in luxury, premium and European vehicle repairs. The company holds I-CAR Gold Class status and maintains an extensive list of OEM certifications, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, Toyota, Lexus, Hyundai, Genesis, Volkswagen, MINI, Tesla, Honda, Acura, Nissan, Kia and FCA.
For ACX, the acquisition represents an opportunity to combine a respected reputation for repair excellence with a broader national growth strategy. The addition further strengthens the company’s presence in Western Canada while ensuring Calgary motorists continue to benefit from the high standards of service and expertise for which Contemporary Coachworks is known.
