Boyd Group Services Inc., headquartered in Winnipeg, has hit a major milestone with the opening of its 1,000th collision repair center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The company now operates more than 875 U.S. locations and over 125 facilities across five Canadian provinces. CEO Brian Kaner credited the company’s 13,000 employees for making this achievement possible.

Founded in 1990 with the first Boyd Autobody & Glass shop in Winnipeg, the group has grown into one of North America’s largest non-franchised collision repair networks. A pivotal step came in 2004 with the acquisition of Gerber Collision & Glass, fueling its U.S. expansion.

Today, Boyd continues to expand through both new store openings and strategic acquisitions, reflecting a broader trend of consolidation in Canada’s collision repair industry. The milestone underscores Boyd’s strong position in an evolving and competitive market.
