AIA High Fives for Kids Foundation Distinguished Recognition Award
Andy Murphy has been a respected leader in the Canadian auto care sector for over 50 years, including steps at Acklands – later CARQUEST Canada, NAPA’s CMAX Paint & Body Shop Supply network, Bestbuy Distributors Ltd. and currently Modern Sales Co-op.
Established in 2005, the H5s4Ks Foundation enriches the lives of Canadian children and youth assisting local charities and ensuring young people have access to the tools, opportunities, and support to thrive. The Foundation fosters future talent in the auto care sector with annual scholarships.
For 15 years, Andy has been dedicated to the AIA High Fives for Kids Foundation, playing a key role in overseeing golf tournaments, dinners, and fundraising initiatives.
Young leader of the Year Award
Kari Hann joined Specialty Sales & Marketing Inc. (SS&M) as marketing and digital communications manager in 2020. She’s been a dedicated member of AIA Canada’s Young Professionals in the Auto Care sector (YPA) Committee and since 2024 its Chair.
Kari founded the SS&M Community Support Fund, aiding to individuals and families in need. A member of 100 Women Who Care Halton Hills she volunteers with the Halton Down Syndrome Association.
Additionally, Kari supports Shads R&R, an industry event that has raised over $5.5 million for Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Kari’s dedication to both the automotive sector and charitable causes highlights her passion for leadership, mentorship, and making a positive impact.

2025 Distinguished Service Award
Bob Jaworski, President and CEO of Auto Electric Ltd. has been a dedicated leader in the auto care industry for over 40 years. After serving at Dayco Canada, then SaskTel., he returned to the industry with Auto Electric in 1986 rising to Corporate Sales Manager then General Manager overseeing operations.
Bob has contributed through roles on AIA Canada’s Board of Directors and currently serves on the National Account Committee for the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.
Bob has been married to Lynn for 41 years with two children, Jen, manager of corporate development and marketing at Auto Electric, and Rankin, a vice president at Toronto Dominion Asset Management.
