ACX Expands Service Capabilities in Edmonton with Modern and Crosstown Merger

ACX press release

ACX has merged its ACX Modern and Crosstown Autobody locations in Edmonton. The locations will operate under the ACX Modern name across more than 30,000 square feet of production and repair space, this strategic integration brings together two established operations with over 55 years of experience between them. The consolidation strengthens ACX’s footprint in Edmonton, creating operational efficiencies while expanding service capabilities across a broader spectrum of the collision repair market.

By combining the expertise and infrastructure of both facilities, ACX will streamline how vehicles are repaired based on their brands and needs. Building on ACX Modern’s long-standing legacy in luxury repair, complex structural work, and high-end refinishing, the unified facility allows each space to specialize across all vehicle segments—including luxury, EVs, domestic, import, and fleet. Customers will benefit from streamlined scheduling, reduced repair times, and the uncompromised OEM standards of quality and safety across all levels of repair.

“Integrating ACX Modern and Crosstown Autobody is a key milestone in strengthening our Edmonton operations. By bringing both teams together, we’re specializing our repair processes to deliver faster, higher-quality service across every vehicle segment,” says Brandi Brydges, Director of Operations, Private Region West.

In conjunction with the merger, ACX is making significant investments in facility upgrades, advanced tooling, and workforce development. Technicians and staff will gain access to even more modern equipment, cross-facility training, and best practices to support an extensive roster of OEM certifications, including: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Genesis, Tesla, Rivian, Bentley, Subaru, GMC, Hyundai, KIA, Volvo, and Nissan. Exterior signage and building upgrades are underway as well, with a comprehensive office renovation scheduled for early 2027 to provide an updated customer experience.

The Modern and Crosstown merger builds on ACX’s growing presence in Edmonton. Together with the recent acquisition of two Doug’s Place locations, ACX now has four locations serving Edmonton and the surrounding area, expanding its ability to provide comprehensive, trusted collision repair services across the region.
