CCIF in Calgary for Learning

The second CCIF Forum, organized by AIA Canada in Calgary, provided a unique platform for discussion and learning within the collision repair and aftermarket community. On September 17, attendees gathered for an engaging networking evening, fostering new business connections.

On September 18, the focus shifted to knowledge sharing through a series of insightful conferences. The most acclaimed presentation came from Steve Peevy (I-CAR), who highlighted the idea of a “learning culture” as the true sustainable competitive advantage

Peevy Learning as Competitive Advantage. Participants examined the difference between event-based training and a continuous learning mindset, vital for repair shops adapting to new technologies and evolving customer expectations.

The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders: professional body repairers, distributors, manufacturers of parts and paints, suppliers, and training experts. Collectively, they exchanged best practices and discussed strategies to build a more innovative and competitive industry.
