AUMOVIO SE, formerly Continental’s automotive division, began trading independently on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The company is a global provider of hardware and software solutions for vehicles, well-positioned in key growth areas shaping future mobility.
In the first half of 2025, AUMOVIO reported an adjusted EBIT margin of 2.7%. Shares opened at €35.00, giving the company a €3.5 billion market cap. CEO Philipp von Hirschheydt remarked: “Today’s listing marks a new era as we launch AUMOVIO to shape the future of mobility and automotive technology.”
AUMOVIO enters independence with a strong balance sheet: €1.5 billion in cash, €2.5 billion in credit facilities, and no financial debt. It targets long-term sales above €24 billion, up from €19.6 billion in 2024, and an adjusted EBIT margin of 6–8%. With more than 86,000 employees across 100+ sites, AUMOVIO continues delivering sensor solutions, braking and comfort systems, displays, and advanced software for software-defined vehicles.
