Ramiro Canacho arrived in Quebec about 3 years ago through a rather peculiar process that guaranteed him a job as soon as he arrived. 

Fix Auto Blainville was looking for a qualified bodyman and called on an agency specializing in recruiting talent abroad. This agency allows our local employers to select their future employees through filmed technical evaluations. Ramiro went through a series of rigorous tests to evaluate his expertise and his ability to meet the requirements of the position, all observed by the managers of Fix Auto Blainville. His 30 years of experience have made Ramiro stand out and through this process, he was able to obtain a visa to come work in Canada and land a job as soon as he got here. 

Experienced but above all ready to learn 

Although he arrived with an impressive background, Ramiro quickly realized that he had to adapt to local realities. In addition to winters, he had to take some training to work in the sector and learn French, a language he is quite comfortable with today. In addition, with the constant evolution of Fix Auto Blainville, he had to specialize in repairing advanced and electric vehicles, especially Tesla brand vehicles, thus becoming an indispensable asset for the Blainville location.  

A future here in Quebec 

Today, Ramiro is considered a pillar of the team of six foreign workers. His involvement, his rigor and his open-mindedness made him well liked by all his colleagues. He thrives in his work and now aspires to build a sustainable future here. He is currently in the process of obtaining Canadian citizenship for himself and his family, proof of his attachment to Quebec and his new community.
