On June 11, CPA Montréal welcomed the 2025 First Class Journeypersons to its offices for the second annual First Class Recognition Event, an evening dedicated to celebrating their outstanding achievement.
Surrounded by family members, leading employers, and industry partners, the recipients were presented with a commemorative plaque recognizing this important milestone in their professional journey. The cocktail reception provided an opportunity to celebrate their accomplishment while encouraging meaningful networking among attendees.
The evening also featured a special tribute to Louis-Martin Jannard, co-founder of Canada Motor Jobs and former instructor, in recognition of his distinguished career and his outstanding contribution to the automotive industry and the development of the next generation of skilled professionals.
Beyond the presentation of plaques, the event highlighted the recipients’ perseverance, expertise, and dedication to their profession. Achieving First Class certification represents far more than earning a professional designation—it reflects the knowledge, technical mastery, and ongoing commitment required to uphold the highest standards in a constantly evolving industry.

CPA Montréal extends its warmest congratulations to all those honoured for this well-deserved achievement. Their contribution plays a vital role in maintaining the quality of automotive services provided to the public and in strengthening the automotive service industry throughout the Greater Montreal region.
CPA Montréal also thanks everyone who attended, as well as the employers and industry partners whose support helped make the evening a memorable and meaningful celebration.
Congratulations once again to all the recipients on this outstanding accomplishment!
