Susann Mayhead officially took the helm of Mercedes-Benz Canada on May 1, 2026, succeeding Andreas Tetzloff, who chose to leave the organization after more than 30 years with the German automaker. Mayhead began her career with Daimler Financial Services in 2000 and has since built an international track record spanning finance, customer service, operations, and sales and marketing. In 2021, she was named Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services for Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, before joining the board of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG. In her new role, she will oversee approximately 250 employees across Canada and a nationwide network of 57 authorized dealerships, covering Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Maybach, and Vans product lines. The appointment comes as the brand celebrates 140 years of innovation with a global tour of its new S-Class sedan through 140 destinations worldwide.
