Where business needs, collective agreement requirements, and the expectations of a rapidly evolving workforce come together, Jennyfer Petit holds a central position within the Comité paritaire de l’industrie des services automobiles des régions de Québec et de Lévis.
A Structuring Mission for the Industry
Jennyfer joined CPA in 2023 and now serves as Director of Training Coordination, ensuring that every mechanic, apprentice, or professional leaves better equipped to face the challenges of a rapidly transforming trade. Her role covers all stages of the process: training planning, participant support, coordination with instructors, and the development of programs tailored to market needs.
Jennyfer Petit notes that “automotive electrical training, from basic to intermediate levels, remains consistently successful, as do courses related to driver assistance systems, sensors, and embedded technologies, which are now essential for technicians.”
A Front-Line Contact Person
For both businesses and workers, she is often the first point of contact: the one who responds, reassures, explains, and guides. Her direct, efficient, and deeply human approach makes a real difference in an industry where schedules are tight and needs are urgent. “We also offer customized training and coaching,” she adds.
A Rapidly Expanding Network
With the opening of two new training centres in Lévis, the offering is now expanding on a larger scale. As a result, training hours increased from 1,000 to 3,000 per year in 2025.
Supporting a Transforming Industry
Electrification, electronic diagnostics, advanced technologies: the automotive industry is evolving at a rapid pace. Jennyfer Petit ensures that workers can keep up with this pace through relevant and recognized content offered by the Comité Paritaire de l’industrie des services automobiles.
If CPA Québec is recognized for the quality of its training programs, it is largely thanks to professionals like Jennyfer Petit.
