Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) has begun producing the all-new 6th generation RAV4 for North America. President Tim Hollander stated this selection reflects Toyota Motor Corporation’s trust in their world-class team, quality commitment, and customer focus. Toyota invested over $1.1 billion in this new RAV4, bringing total Canadian investment to more than $12 billion.
TMMC has produced over 4 million RAV4s since 2009 and currently employs more than 8,500 people at its Cambridge and Woodstock, Ontario facilities. As Canada’s top automaker, TMMC assembled over 535,000 vehicles in 2025 and will reach its 12 millionth vehicle this year. The company has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 22 consecutive years and is the world’s most awarded auto manufacturing plant.
The 2026 RAV4, exclusively available with hybrid powertrain, offers three designs across seven grades, providing diverse style, features, and technology options.
