DRiV has announced a major expansion of its Wagner brake caliper portfolio in North America with the addition of 547 new part numbers.

The expansion brings the portfolio to approximately 1,100 part numbers, allowing Wagner to cover nearly 78% of vehicles in operation across North America. According to DRiV, the newly added applications alone represent approximately 118 million vehicles.

Newly covered vehicles include the 2016 Jeep Patriot, 2015 Nissan Altima, 2013 Hyundai Sonata, 2012 Chevrolet Malibu and 2017 Chevrolet Traverse.

Unlike many replacement brake calipers available in the aftermarket that are remanufactured, Wagner calipers are entirely new. They are also offered without a core charge or the need to return the old part, which can simplify parts management and the return process for distributors and repair shops.

“With 547 new caliper part numbers, we’re expanding availability for high-volume applications while giving customers a fully new caliper option that helps simplify the repair and replacement process,” said Joseph Saoud, Vice President and General Manager, U.S. and Canada, DRiV.

The expansion is part of Wagner’s ongoing development of its brake caliper portfolio and is intended to increase parts availability for many of the vehicles commonly serviced in North American repair shops.
