A 30-Year Career, a Team, a Signature

On July 16, ProColor Collision Pont-Viau celebrated Antoine Menevichian’s 30-year career. The event also provided a special opportunity to unveil the shop’s major expansion and newly modernized facilities. Its president proudly points out that “what began as a three-bay shop now has 21 production bays covering 26,000 square feet.”

When Antoine opened his shop in Laval in 1996, he already had a decade of mechanical experience behind him, having started at the age of 13. His brother Gabriel, an automotive painter, joined him six months later, bringing complementary expertise that quickly helped the business establish itself in the industry. Gabriel worked alongside him until April 2026.

From a Family Shop to a Regional Benchmark

From its earliest years, the business distinguished itself through the quality of its repairs, the precision of its bodywork, the accuracy of its refinishing work, and a customer service approach built on transparency and reliability. Joining the ProColor network in 2005 marked a decisive turning point. The affiliation enabled the shop to keep its equipment up to date, standardize its methods, and strengthen its technological capabilities, propelling the business into the ranks of Laval’s top-performing collision repair facilities.

Over the years, ProColor Collision Pont-Viau expanded its range of expertise to include complex collision repairs, wheel alignment and light mechanical work, quick repairs, and 24/7 towing service. As an experienced administrator, Antoine ensures that quality standards are maintained while overseeing day-to-day operations with the consistency that has earned his business its reputation for excellence.

A People-First Management Approach That Builds Loyalty

At the heart of this longevity is a people-focused management philosophy. Antoine Menevichian explains that he has always favoured “a flexible work environment that respects everyone’s needs, inspired by his own years as a worker.” This approach has fostered remarkable employee loyalty, with several team members accumulating more than 20 years of service. “They prefer to stay,” he says, “even when they are offered a higher salary elsewhere.”

Three decades in the trade have shaped a signature recognized throughout the region, where quality is never simply a promise to keep, but a standard to achieve—and exceed.
