Bridgestone is launching the latest addition to its highly acclaimed performance tire lineup, the Potenza Sport EVO.
This new model incorporates Bridgestone’s Enliten technology, which reduces the tire’s weight by about 20% while using recycled materials. As a result, according to Bridgestone, the new Potenza Sport EVO delivers 5% better performance on wet surfaces and 2% better performance on dry surfaces during emergency braking compared to its predecessor, the Potenza Sport.
A Boost in Longevity
Where Enliten technology stands out the most is in durability. Bridgestone states that the Potenza Sport EVO has a lifespan 15% longer than its predecessor—an increase of about 6,000 kilometres. It also offers 6% less rolling resistance, improving energy efficiency. Additionally, thanks to a stronger casing, it is compatible with electric vehicles, meaning it can handle heavier loads while also better resisting roll during sporty manoeuvres, thereby enhancing its performance pedigree.
A Two-Phase Launch
Developed in Europe, the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO will be available in 139 sizes ranging from 17 to 23 inches—40 more than its predecessor. Ninety-two sizes will launch as early as January 2026, with the remaining sizes following in 2027.
