Press release : CARSTAR
CARSTAR, Canada’s premier network of independently owned and operated collision repair facilities, is continuing its growth trajectory with the addition of five experienced professionals across sales, operations, performance management, and analytics.
These additions reflect CARSTAR Canada’s ongoing investment in strengthening franchise support, enhancing operational performance, deepening industry partnerships, and leveraging data driven insights to support its growing network of collision repair facilities across the country.
“These strategic additions demonstrate our commitment to investing in the people, expertise, and capabilities needed to support our franchise partners and industry relationships,” said Dave Foster, SVP, Operations & Development, CARSTAR Canada. “Each of these professionals brings a unique blend of experience and leadership that will help drive continued success across our network.”
Strengthening National Partnerships

CARSTAR Canada recently welcomed Aram Zakharian as Director, National Sales. Zakharian brings more than a decade of experience in strategic account management, business development, and national partnership growth. Most recently, he held progressive leadership and sales roles, where he successfully developed and managed national insurance and fleet partnerships across the country.
His extensive experience working with insurers, collision networks, and fleet organizations will support CARSTAR Canada’s continued focus on building strong partner relationships and delivering value driven solutions.
Expanding Operational Leadership in Quebec

Joining the Quebec operations team as Regional Operations Manager, Karine Élément brings more than 20 years of experience spanning virtually every aspect of the collision repair industry. Her expertise includes collision centre operations, automotive damage appraisal, and insurer relations, providing a comprehensive perspective on both repair facility and insurance operations.
Karine will oversee franchise operations throughout Quebec south of the St. Lawrence River and support the ongoing evolution of operational best practices across the region.
Enhancing Franchise Performance Support

CARSTAR Canada has also strengthened its franchise performance team with the appointments of Marie-Eve Tanguay and Tony Tombesi as Franchise Performance Managers.
Based in Quebec, Tanguay brings more than 25 years of experience in automotive, collision repair, insurance, and performance optimization. Her background includes leadership roles with both collision repair facilities and insurers, providing deep expertise in operational excellence, customer experience, and process improvement.
Tombesi joins the team with more than 20 years of experience across collision repair, refinishing, insurance, and business performance. Having progressed from technical repair and paint roles into operational leadership positions, he brings a practical, results oriented approach to coaching franchise partners and driving sustainable performance improvements.
Together, they will work closely with franchise partners across Canada to optimize operational performance, strengthen insurer scorecard results, and support business growth initiatives.
Investing in Data and Analytics

Further supporting CARSTAR Canada’s commitment to data driven decision making, Zach MacPhail has joined the organization as Business Data Analyst.
MacPhail brings expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, process automation, and large scale business analytics. He will support analytics initiatives across Driven Brands while helping deliver actionable insights that improve operational performance and identify growth opportunities throughout the CARSTAR Canada network.
His experience and analytical skill set will play an important role in driving incremental revenue across the network while empowering business partners to make informed, strategic decisions.
Positioning for Future Growth
These appointments come as CARSTAR Canada continues to strengthen its leadership position within the collision repair industry, supporting a network that spans coast to coast and delivering innovative solutions for franchise partners, insurers, fleet operators, and customers.
“As our network continues to evolve, attracting top industry talent remains a key priority,” added Foster. “These new team members bring the expertise, energy, and leadership needed to help us build on our momentum and continue delivering exceptional value to our franchise partners and customers.”
