From August 20 to 22, CARSTAR Canada hosted its annual Rise 2025 conference at Toronto’s Westin Harbour Castle. More than 500 participants – franchisees, corporate team members, suppliers, and industry leaders – gathered to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the collision repair sector.

Kicking off the second day, Dave Foster, Senior Vice-President of Operations and Development, delivered a leadership update. His roadmap for 2025 includes boosting performance and profitability, expanding unit growth, strengthening regional meetings, and enhancing training and mentorship programs.

Another highlight came from Ryan Mandell of Mitchell, who captivated the audience with an insightful look at today’s collision repair realities. He outlined the fast-paced shifts reshaping the industry and shared how the “shop of the future” can adapt, innovate, and thrive in an unpredictable environment.
