Electric Vehicles: A Certain Future, a Gradual Transition

The global shift to electric mobility is real, yet slower than forecasted. EV sales surged sixfold since 2018 but are now moderating, held back by familiar hurdles: high cost, range concerns, and charging gaps.

This does not derail the transition. With unmatched energy efficiency, EVs remain the endgame. But today, hybrids and plug-in hybrids stand as a practical bridge. They cut emissions, leverage existing technologies, and meet the needs of cautious consumers.

In Europe, hybrids help automakers meet strict environmental targets; in Asia, they thrive where charging networks lag. For both consumers and manufacturers, hybrids deliver a compelling mix of affordability, performance, and reassurance.

The path to full electrification is inevitable, but hybrids make the journey smoother. They are more than a stopgap — they are a stepping stone toward a sustainable mobility future.

Hybrids are bridges to tomorrow.
