Canadian company Alchemy Labs is continuing to expand its ExoShield product line with a significant increase in the number of applications available for its ULTRA Pro windshield protection kits.

Within a single quarter, the number of supported vehicle models has grown from more than 20 to more than 40, covered by 17 vehicle-specific kits.

Greater Coverage for Pickups and SUVs

The expansion includes several popular GM vehicles in North America, including the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500 HD and 3500 HD, along with their GMC Sierra counterparts.

The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade have also been added, as well as the Ineos Grenadier and Quartermaster.

ULTRA Pro kits use windshield protection film that is pre-cut for specific vehicle applications. According to Alchemy, this approach is designed in part to reduce installation time.

For automotive glass shops and other service businesses, the expansion of this type of product could create opportunities to offer additional preventive windshield services. Alchemy is targeting consumer and dealership markets as well as commercial fleets, where windshield damage can result in replacement costs and vehicle downtime.

The company plans to continue adding vehicle applications based on market demand.
