More Than 30 Years of Expertise in the Field
For over ten years, Sylvie Mallette has led the organization with a clear vision: to provide Quebec’s automotive businesses with the tools, training, and structured support they need to reduce risks and better protect their employees.
Holding a master’s degree in occupational health sciences from McGill University, she has served in strategic positions at the Centre patronal SST, the Forest Products Association of Canada, and Natural Resources Canada. When she joined Auto Prévention in 2014, this diverse background enabled her to bring a deep understanding of industrial environments, emerging risks, and best practices in occupational health and safety management.
A Key Player in the Automotive Ecosystem
Over the years, Auto Prévention has become an essential resource for dealerships, repair shops, collision repair centres, tire retailers, and roadside assistance companies. Today, the organization offers more than 30 specialized occupational health and safety training programs, trade-specific technical fact sheets, and on-site support for managers. Its quarterly magazine has also become a trusted reference within the automotive sector.
The rapid growth of electric and hybrid vehicles has significantly changed the risks faced by automotive professionals. As a result, the EV Safety Certification has become essential training for anyone working on high-voltage systems.
