The tiremaker put its all-weather tire to the test on snow and dry pavement, indoors and out
Nexen Tire America spotlighted its newest all-weather tire, the N’Blue 4Season 2, at a ride-and-drive event called All-Weather Adventure. For the event, the company invited media, influencers and customers to Big SNOW American Dream in New Jersey, North America’s only year-round indoor ski and snowboard resort, which pairs an indoor snow course with an outdoor dry track.
Built for SUVs, crossovers, small trucks and sports cars, the N’Blue 4Season 2 features a V-shaped directional tread, 3D sipes and 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification. Available in 60 sizes from 15 to 21 inches, it claims a 20 percent shorter stopping distance on snow and ice than the brand’s all-season tire, thanks to improved shoulder blocks and a reworked compound based on advanced resin technology.
Soft-launched in the U.S. in 2024 and manufactured in South Korea, the tire was designed at Nexen’s America Tech Center in Ohio, where engineers average 25 years of experience. Its 70,000-mile treadwear warranty (roughly 112,000 km), paired with roadside assistance, gives dealers a strong selling point at the counter. Nexen views the all-weather segment as one of its biggest growth opportunities.
