AutoCanada Inc. completed two significant collision repair acquisitions in less than 72 hours. On June 8, 2026, the company finalized its purchase of Contemporary Coachworks, a luxury collision specialist with two Calgary, Alberta, locations, more than 40 years of operating history, and approximately 30,000 square feet of combined repair capacity. On June 10, AutoCanada acquired Mascarin Collision Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario, a business founded in 1961 that holds certifications from more than ten manufacturers, including GM, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen, and Subaru — and is the only General Motors-certified collision repair facility in northwestern Ontario. AutoCanada now operates more than 30 collision centres across Canada, alongside its 64 franchised dealerships spanning 23 brands in eight provinces. These back-to-back acquisitions signal accelerating MSO consolidation in the Canadian market.
