Comfort, control and versatility for combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles

Since its acquisition by Sumitomo Rubber Industries in 2025, Dunlop is launching its first new product: the Blue Response TG, a summer tire designed for passenger cars and SUVs. Available in 99 sizes ranging from 15 to 21 inches, it covers a broad spectrum of vehicles, including hybrid and fully electric powertrains.

The TG designation — short for “touring” — speaks directly to the tire’s identity: a focus on long-distance comfort and efficiency. Its three-zone rib design efficiently channels water away from the contact patch, ensuring stability and wet-weather grip. Lateral grooves set at optimized angles reduce block deformation and maintain consistent force transfer through corners and under braking.

A new tread compound featuring longer, more resilient polymer chains extends tire life without compromising performance. A noise-reducing tread pattern links lateral grooves into continuous channels, smoothing airflow and dampening vibrations for a quieter cabin — fully consistent with Dunlop’s touring performance standards.
