The Student Automotive Innovation Challenge will bring students and auto care industry organizations together on November 18 at Georgian College in Barrie.
AIA Canada is inviting industry organizations to participate in the Student Automotive Innovation Challenge, formerly known as Student Aftermarket Day. The event will take place on November 18, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Automotive Business School of Canada at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.
The initiative is designed in part to build stronger connections between students and professionals in Canada’s automotive industry. Organizations can participate as Career Showcase exhibitors, giving them an opportunity to meet emerging talent face-to-face and introduce students to career opportunities within their organizations and the broader auto care sector.
For participating companies, the event also provides an opportunity to increase their visibility among future workers and highlight the range of career paths available throughout the industry.
The event comes as attracting new talent remains an important issue for many businesses in the automotive sector. By creating direct connections between students and employers, AIA Canada aims to encourage more young people to consider careers in the industry.
Participation in the Career Showcase costs $225 plus tax for AIA Canada members and $300 plus tax for non-members.
Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
