The former Mercedes-AMG Motorsport executive takes charge of brand transformation and digital experience at the global filtration leader.
MANN+HUMMEL, a global leader in filtration solutions, has announced the appointment of Christoph Sagemüller to a new executive role overseeing the group’s global brand architecture and customer experience strategy. In this capacity, he will drive the development of the brand portfolio and ensure a seamless, differentiated experience across all customer touchpoints, with particular emphasis on digital channels.
A profile rooted in high-performance leadership
Sagemüller joins MANN+HUMMEL from Mercedes-AMG GmbH, where he most recently led the Mercedes-AMG Motorsport business unit, overseeing product strategy, race-car development, sales, customer care, communications, and global activation. He began his career at Mercedes-AMG in product management before taking on broader responsibilities in brand management, strategic partnerships, and motorsport communications.
A strategic signal for the Canadian aftermarket
For Kurk Wilks, president and CEO of the MANN+HUMMEL Group, the appointment strengthens the company’s customer-centric transformation and reinforces its global brand positioning. For Canadian distributors and repair shops working with MANN+HUMMEL products, this strategic shift signals increased investment in customer experience and digital communication — improvements that will translate into stronger service and technical support for the Canadian market.
