He is a seasoned manager, recognized for his expertise in business development, team management, and structuring auto body shop networks. 

The Art of Coordinating Operations 

A key figure at the Corporation des concessionnaires automobiles du Québec (CCAQ), Jean-François Gargya leads CarrXpert with a performance- and efficiency-focused approach. His professional experience at Audatex Canada, where he served as Business Development Director, allowed him to gain a deep understanding of the technical challenges and day-to-day realities of repair shops. 

In his managerial role, he must coordinate numerous stakeholders: insurance partners, product and service suppliers, shop owners, dealerships, and automakers. His philosophy is simple: 

“A high-performing shop is a structured shop.” 

Primary Goal: Certification 

Jean-François Gargya is committed to an ambitious objective: certifying all auto body shops in Quebec by 2028. 

“This project involves significant investments in equipment, extensive training, and integrating vehicle electrification into repair techniques,” he explains. 

His approach relies on implementing rigorous certification standards, continuously improving repair processes, and emphasizing technical expertise and vehicle safety. 

He has also played a key role in expanding the CarrXpert business model across Canada, notably in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. 

A Committed Spokesperson 

Beyond numbers and strategies, Jean-François Gargya plays a leading role in communication and network engagement. He frequently speaks to industry media to raise awareness among motorists about the importance of choosing certified shops—especially in an era of vehicles packed with invisible yet essential safety technologies. 

His goal-driven determination has guided him throughout his professional life and in raising his two daughters, both high-level basketball players. 

Jean-François Gargya’s influence now goes beyond network management. Under his leadership, CarrXpert has strengthened standards, optimized expertise, and emphasized ongoing training to ensure consistent quality from one shop to another.
