The TR LH2 Racing Prototype will complete public demonstration laps at the Circuit de la Sarthe on June 11 and 13, 2026

Toyota Racing is making history at the 94th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours with the first-ever public demonstration drives of its liquid hydrogen-fuelled TR LH2 Racing Prototype. The demonstrations, scheduled for June 11 and 13 at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe, will bring the distinctive sound of a hydrogen combustion engine to motorsport fans worldwide.

A prototype built on racing excellence

Sharing its chassis with the TR010 HYBRID Hypercar competing in the Le Mans race itself, the TR LH2 represents years of progressive hydrogen development — from gaseous hydrogen in the Japanese Super Taikyu series in 2021 to liquid hydrogen technology introduced in 2023. Prior to its track runs, the prototype will be showcased in the Hydrogen Village, Toyota’s dedicated exhibition of hydrogen technology, opening June 10.
