A rare occurrence in our industry: twins Elyse and Raea Isabel both work for the Comité paritaire de l’industrie de l’automobile des régions Lanaudière-Laurentides (CPA-LL). We met with them to find out what sets their roles apart and what brings them together on a daily basis.
Elyse Isabel — A seasoned coordinator
For nearly eight years, Elyse has been coordinating the CPA-LL’s training plans, providing an essential link between business services, professional centers and partners in the sector. She serves as an intermediary between vocational training centers and NAPA training centers. Her role also consists of managing grants that support continuing education, particularly in automotive mechanics, heavy vehicles and bodywork.
Versatile and committed
In addition, Elyse Isabel oversees account reporting and plays a key role as a resource person for subsidized training related to electric and hybrid vehicles. She works mainly with employers in the automotive sector, while collaborating with dealers and auto repair shop owners who are keen to invest in the professional development of their staff.
A dynamic duo
Apart from her professional responsibilities, Elyse is just as dynamic. She is actively involved in physical training, including CrossFit and paddleboarding, activities she enthusiastically shares with her daughter and Raea. The two sisters cultivate a rare bond, fuelled by a common passion for pushing themselves, both at work and in life.
Raea Isabel — A key role in support
A training clerk at the Comité paritaire de l’industrie de l’automobile des régions Lanaudière-Laurentides (CPA-LL), Raea Isabel has over five years of experience in the sector. She plays a key role in coordinating work-study programs, in collaboration with partner vocational training centers.
Her expertise extends to the management of wage subsidies. Raea follows up on files, collects supporting documents and ensures their compliance. She places particular emphasis on customer service, which she considers her main strength.
A shared dynamic
Outside of work, Elyse and Raea share hobbies, including paddleboarding and CrossFit. Elyse is the mother of a three-year-old girl, and Raea is also a committed mother. Both recharge their batteries through these leisure and family activities.
Through their collaboration with the CPA-LL, the Isabel sisters show that a strong family bond can become a powerful professional driver. Their harmonious coordination, nurtured by shared values and an instinctive understanding of each other, enriches their daily work as well as their personal lives.
